ACT SET TO RETUN IN 2021

With things now looking to be heading in the right direction we are currently making plans for the return of ACT as soon as the government allow us to do so and we deem it safe for us to continue safely. So, it’s time to update the website.

When this was last done we were very excitedly looking forward to our production of “St Tabithas” with several new and very talented members. Sadly, this did not happen due to lockdowns. The website at the time said that we had no vacancies and that there was a waiting list, much water has passed under the bridge since then, people have moved on, some will be taking exams and so at the present time we are not sure of what the membership will be and who will return when we restart. Ideally, we would like as many of the group as possible to return, in the last few weeks there have been several applications from potential new members which is always exciting and we will as usual do our best to accommodate them into the group. With the above in mind myself and Beth (Vice Chairman) have decided that before we start rehearsing a new production that the first few weeks back will be run as a Drama Club so that we can see who is still interested and meet any potential new members. These sessions will include a lot of improvisation work and should be fun. This is where existing members can help us by working with new people and helping them to integrate. We look forward to being able to welcome old and new members back to ACT as soon as possible and to some exciting productions.

If anyone is interested in joining Axmouth Childrens Theatre, please complete the following form here.

Further information will appear on our ACT Community Facebook page and for the members on our ACT Private members’ page.

Stay safe and see you soon.
